The Booker Prize Longlist was released this week. Don’t get super excited to go out and put yourself on hold for all these books because some of them aren’t available in America yet. The first title on the list, House of Doors from Tan Twan Eng is set to be released on October 17th.
The Bee Sting is coming out August 15th.
Western Lane from Chetna Maroo came out in February.
In Ascension from Martin Macinnes came out earlier this year.
Prophet Song by Lynch Paul – September 1st
All the Little Bird-Hearts by Viktoria Lloyd-Barlow has not been released yet.
Pearl by Sian Hughes – September 19
This Other Eden by Paul Harding came out in January. I’m particularly excited to read this one.
How to Build a Boat by Elaine Feeney came out earlier this year.
If I Survive You by Jonathan Escoffery. This book came out in 2022 and is on every book award list you can think of.
Study for Obedience by Sarah Bernstein comes out August 22.
Old God’s Time by Sebastian Barry came out in March.
A Spell of Good Things by Ayobami Adebayo came out in February.
